Why the Swan Valley?
The Swan Valley is Western Australia’s oldest wine-producing region and one of the most accessible wine destinations in Australia. Stretching along the banks of the Swan River just 30 minutes from Perth’s CBD, it is home to more than 40 wineries, cellar doors, breweries and gourmet producers.
The region produces a broad range of wine styles, from the bold Shiraz and Verdelho the valley is famous for, through to elegant Chenin Blanc and sparkling wines that consistently attract national attention. Add in artisan chocolate makers, nougat producers, olive groves and providores along the Swan Valley Food and Wine Trail, and you have a perfect destination that goes well beyond the glass.

Your Full Day Wine Tour - What to Expect
Every tour is slightly different depending on the day and season, but here is our standardised 6-hour Swan Valley wine tour schedule:

Perth CBD Pickup
Your guide collects you from your nominated Perth CBD hotel or meeting point. Comfortable transport and a quick overview of the day ahead as we head into the valley. BYO is accepted on all our vehicles.

First Cellar Door – Arrival
Your first stop sets the tone. We typically begin with one of the valley’s best-known estates. Try a flight of flagship wines while your guide explains what makes the region distinctive. (Tasting fees approx. $10pp).

Second Stop & Lunch
A relaxed stop at a boutique producer. This is the perfect time for lunch where you can purchase a meal of your choice from the venue’s seasonal menu. Expect honest conversation about the wine and the vintage.

Third Cellar Door – Afternoon Tasting
Our third and final cellar door visit. There is enough time to browse, purchase, and explore the grounds. This is typically where guests discover their favourite wine of the day.

Time to pick up a bottle or two and enjoy the last of the afternoon light over the vines before heading back.
